Why Grand Manan?
Grand Manan summers would surprise most Europeans — shirtsleeves, sundowners on the veranda and long golden evenings that seem to go on forever. Atlantic Canada knows how to do summer.
Taste of the Island
Imagine a deer steak — venison to our European friends — glazed with Arbor & Shore maple syrup, produced right here on the island, sizzling on the BBQ, and a pot of fresh clam chowder seasoned with traditional Grand Manan dulse on the stove. We can arrange local produce waiting for you on arrival — a true taste of Grand Manan from the moment you walk through the door.
Explore the Island
From dramatic cliff walks at Southwest Head to heritage trails, cycling routes and quad biking, Grand Manan rewards those who get out and explore. The island's lighthouses, fishing wharves and century-old buildings tell a story that goes back generations.
Nature & Wildlife
